How do I order ZIPPY Mobile Containers?
Just give us a call at 833-MINI(6464). We can take your order over the phone and arrange a convenient time to bring your container(s) to you. You can sign the rental papers when your container(s) are delivered.
How long does it take?
We can have your container(s) to you for loading within as little as 24 hours. Then you can take as long as you like to pack your container(s). Call us when you're done and we'll be back to pick them up.
How much weight can a container hold?
You can store up to 2,000 pounds in each ZIPPY container.
How much stuff can they hold?
You can load them with literally a ton of furniture and boxes. Internal dimensions of each container are 8 feet deep, 5 feet wide and 7 feet tall, which is over 280 cubic feet of space. A large door swings wide open, giving you plenty of space, and making loading a snap.
Can I stagger delivery?
Sure! If you need several containers, but only have room for one at a time - order as many as you need and ZIPPY will deliver the containers as you need them.
Are they protected from the elements?
They're covered with a durable weatherproof security cover, ensuring the contents stay dry. Once back in our warehouse, they're even more protected.
Can I pack small vehicles in the containers?
Sure - motorcycles, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, and lawn tractors - they should all fit. It's vital, however that you properly drain gasoline and oil from engines before the move. Keep their weight in mind as you pack, because each container has a maximum capacity of 2,000 pounds.
What are the containers made of?
Our sturdy containers are constructed of reinforced plywood and are designed to be durable and roomy.
Do I have access to my container while it's at the warehouse?
Certainly! All you need to do is call 4 hours in advance during normal business hours. This service is available free of charge. You can also have your container(s) brought back to you or delivered to a new location. We'll then deliver your container in as little as 24 hours.
Where is ZIPPY Mobile Mini Storage available?
Service is currently available in most neighborhood in the Greater Kern County area.
Do you provide Long Distance Moving Service?
No! Although ZIPPY Mobile Services, a company you know and trust, brings you the convenience of containerized moving to your home or business, we only provide these services for Bakersfield and the surrounding local communities. Call for details.
Where does my container go after I've loaded it?
After ZIPPY picks up your container(s), we deliver it to our secure, clean warehouse or deliver it to your new location when you're ready.

How convenient is it to need delivery of multiple containers and find out you have to wait for multiple drivers?
PODS hold only a single container per truck. PODS off load their container directly off the back of the truck. ZIPPY'S trucks hold 1-9 container(s) and our mobile forklift goes the extra step, allowing us to place your container(s) anywhere you want it.
